Memorial Service Sunday for Bowers
19-year-old was killed in after a skiing accident last week at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont.
Friends and family of Kendra Bowers, the 19-year-old Newport native and University of Vermont Student who died after a skiing accident at Sugarbush Resort last week, will be gathering to honor her memory on Sunday.
The memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. at St. George's School in Middletown in the chapel.
A graduate of St. George's School in 2012, Bowers was a sophomore at UVM studying the environment.
St. George's School officials said the ceremony is private and entry is reserved for friends and family only.
