Miss RI Finalists Crowned in EG

On Sunday April 27th the Miss Rhode Island organization held its “Crowning Brunch” at the East Greenwich Veteran Fireman’s Hall on Queen Street, East Greenwich.

Fourteen of the sixteen contestants were on hand to receive their local crowns (photo above). They finalists, in alphabetical order by local title, are: Samantha Bowen, Miss Capitol City;  Amara Berry, Miss Central Rhode Island;  Alexandra Curtis, Miss East Greenwich; Gabriella Whitney, Miss Kent County; Raquel Perez, Miss Kingston; Nicolette Peloquin, Miss Newport County; Gabriella Adams, Miss North Scituate; Ivy De Pew, Miss Providence; Victoria Cuartas, Miss Providence College; Jennifer Sanchez, Miss Providence County; Ava Delasanta, Miss Rhode Island College; Amber Lipsky, Miss Scituate; Emily Cortez, Miss South County; Mallory Moreau, Miss University of RI;  Bryanna Cox, Miss West Bay; and, Brenna Miller, Miss West Greenwich.

Miss Rhode Island 2013, Jessica Marfeo of Exeter, was on hand to help crown her potential successors. The 2014 Miss Rhode Island Pageant is June 14 at Rhode Island College. The winner will compete for the title of Miss America on September 14, 2014 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and broadcast live on ABC at 8 p.m. For more information see: www.MissRI.com.
