Two More Winter Weather Systems on The Way

More snow in store for Rhode Island.

Keep your shovel handy this week: Mother Nature is dishing out two more snow storms this week, according to forecasters.

Southern New England got its first taste of snow Monday morning, but more is on the way starting Tuesday night. Snow and sleet will start just after midnight and carry on into Wednesday morning with wet snow, sleet, and freezing rain, before shifting over to rain later in the day as the temperature rises above freezing. Though accumulation amounts are still uncertain, the wintry mix will complicate Wednesday's morning commute.

Forecasters are keeping a close eye on yet another winter weather system that's heading toward the area on Sunday.

Check back for more snow updates.
