Want To Be A Movie Extra?

Chad Verdi's latest movie – A Bet's A Bet – is looking for extras Tuesday and Wednesday.


Always wanted to be in the movies? Well, with a film production company based in East Greenwich, you don't have to go to Hollywood. In fact, if you've got some time Tuesday or Wednesday (June 25-26), there are opportunities for extras and featured background in Chad Verdi's latest film, "A Bet's a Bet," a romantic comedy starring Mena Suvari, Eric Roberts, Joey Fatone, and Kristen Chenoweth shooting in Cranston.

On Tuesday, they are looking for those interested to be at the Cranston nightclub Mardi Gras at 10 a.m., wearing club attire. 

On Wednesday, June 26, the film crew is looking for "some unique looks for a wild gay men's club scene! Looking for MALES 18+ to portray gay, metro, interesting club types. a.m. call time – wild club attire, tight fitting clothes, bright & loud attire, funky costumes, crazy accessories, think flamboyant and over the top, should create your own 'character' look."

The production company issued this proviso: "Only those seriously interested and available with no conflicts for these dates should email abetsabetfilm@gmail.com.
