Readers' Choice: Best Florist in East Greenwich

What's your go-to flower place in town?

If a woman in your life says, "Don't bother buying me flowers," you're probably better off doing it anyway.

Why? Because flowers are an immediate pick-me-up. They're fresh, colorful and quite the pleasant surprise.

That said, you can't give just any flowers. Make it a bouquet, the bigger the better. If you’re unsure what type of flowers to get, roses are never wrong.

Luckily, there are dedicated local florists who can help you get it right.

This week, we want to know: Which florist in town is your favorite? Is it , , , ? Maybe another one.

Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite florist off the list, note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the florists that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

This response is to "brian miner". First of all, my name is Taylor. Not Tylor. Secondly, my mind and vision are fine. Thirdly, I have no idea who or what "BZB" is. Finally, I made a statement based on personal experience. Last time I checked, I was allowed to do so, without threat of insult. So, now that I have read your ignorant rant, there is no doubt that I would not "give it another try". I am surprised that The East Greenwich Patch would support such pish posh. To: N. Schwab, thank you for your suggestion. I will certainly visit Janice at "Sprigs". My comment is in no way an insult to any individual. Just stating the facts.

Well said, Jane.

I did not "slam" a local business... I simply stated a fact. Nor, did I suggest anyone go to Providence. Again, simply stated what I choose to do. Freedom of speech? Anyone? Hello?

Very observant, John. It is sad that an innocent idea has become so ghetto.

Thank you Drew, for your eloquent and detailed recommendation. Will certainly pay a visit to Sprigs.
