Pure Barre Coming to East Greenwich
It's a hot trend in fitness that shows no signs of slowing down. The EG location would be the chain's second in Rhode Island.
The growing Pure Barre chain is expanding to East Greenwich.
The first Pure Barre location in Rhode Island opened in Cranston last year in and in a Facebook post, the folks there announced the new East Greenwich store saying "Jaime, Leslie and Ali will be bringing the life.tone.burn to E. Greenwich, RI!"
The new Pure Barre will be in East Greenwich Square at 1000 Division St.
A notice posted on the Pure Barre Web site doesn't contain much information, but promises the store will be coming soon.
Already, a Facebook page for the store has more than 350 likes.
Pure Barre is a hot fitness trend and the company has grown to 200 stores across the country.
Workouts are 55-minutes long and the emphasis is on overall mind and body health through a unique and comprehensive regimen that they say is approachable by anyone. You don't have to be a ballet dancer, though the concept was created by people with backgrounds in ballet.
The program promises to make participants leaner, stronger and happier in an environment that feels more like a dance studio than an exercise center.
