Wild Harvest's New Location to Open This Weekend

Wild Harvest's second location opens this Saturday, Nov. 9.

The "Coming Soon" sign is about to come down outside 1675 South County Trail as Wild Harvest ushers the grand opening of its second location.

"We are very excited," said Sydney Maddalena of Wild Harvest. "It's been a long time coming."

Initially, Wild Harvest aimed for a July 1 opening. The renovations and work needed to convert the building was more than anticipated, however.

"We wanted to do it right," said Maddalena. "We wanted it to fit our image and vision for the space."

The new building, formerly the location of O'Brien's Tree Service, is a log cabin built in 1986 by the O'Brien family. Aside from the normal products and services that Wild Harvest provides at its Post Road location (including bakery, to-go food products, muffins, etc.), they're adding more features and components to the South County Trail site. Maddalena said there will be additional seating (outside and inside) and even WiFi. The new space will also allow Wild Harvest to hold events and private parties.

On the weekends, customers can get an "eclectic, all-natural breakfast" – made from local products from farmers' markets and co-ops.

Wild Harvest opens for business on Saturday, Nov. 9. Store hours will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They will close around 1 p.m. on Sundays.
