Corvias Group Hires New Senior Vice President
East Greenwich, RI (April 7, 2014) – Corvias Group announced today that Jim Wickenheiser has been hired as Senior Vice President of Construction. Corvias Group is a privately-owned family of companies that strives to tackle tough, large scale challenges through trusted partnerships that put client interests first; focus more on performance than profit; and, produce sustainable long-term solutions.
In this position, Wickenheiser will be responsible for all aspects of leading the Campus Living construction group and Army portfolio of the Military Living construction group, including fiscal management, long-range planning, scheduling, delivery, construction quality, safety, employee relations, performance management, accountability, compensation, staffing and cost control. Wickenheiser will also work with the Executive Vice President of Construction to pursue new business opportunities and support the execution of the strategic and financial goals for the construction department.

Most recently, Wickenheiser served as Senior Vice President, Director of Lodging for Lend Lease Public Private Partnerships LLC. In this role, he served as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including the Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM), the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (DASA), Inter-Continental Hotel Group, lenders and Design Builder. During his five years there, Wickenheiser participated in the successful closing and delivery of 11,800 hotel rooms across 25 states and 38 Army installations from development and design to construction delivery.

Wickenheiser holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. He was previously a licensed attorney and real estate broker, and licensed Contractor in the state of Michigan.
