TROLLEY SERVICE COMING TO MAIN STREET FOR SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY AND HOLIDAY STROLLS

East Greenwich, RI-The East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce and the Main Street Merchants Committee have announced that trolley service will be an added feature of this year’s Holiday Strolls. Actually, the Trolley will make its debut on Saturday November 30, as an enhancement of Small Business Saturday. The trolley will also run on the Sunday Holiday Strolls which are December 1, 8, 15 and 22.

On the days of trolley service, the trolley will operate from 12 Noon to 4PM. The trolley will run continuously up and down the entire length of Main Street, with turnarounds at the parking lot at 5 Division Street and the parking lot of the former location of Blue Sun, just past the light at First Avenue. Stops along the way heading north will be 500 Main Street, the front of Alex and Ani,   and then the Armory. Heading south it will stop at the Odeum at 59 Main Street, in front of LaMasseria and then the CVS parking lot. All stops will be at crosswalks and be marked with signage.
