This Week at EGAPL....

A full house, a dog on the run, a discount on cat adoptions and more...

It’s been a very busy week at EGAPL – but really, when isn’t it?? First off, let me thank you all for your continued support for EGAPL, our animals, and our life-saving mission. I know we often ask a lot of our supporters and you guys always rise to the occasion; it truly means a lot to us and especially to the animals that you enable us to save!

Here’s a quick update on what’s going on at EGAPL this week:

Our dog Farrah went missing from her foster home (last seen  near Bates Trail / Hopkins Hill in West Greenwich in the woods towards Carrs Pond). We have all been extremely anxious and working on getting her back safely. She’s VERY shy and scared so we don’t want a lot of searchers in the woods (we have a trap set) but if you do spot her please call Tammy right away (401-241-4541). [9/14 UPDATE: Farrah was safely caught today! We are so happy!)

We are very full right now – this means that we can’t take in any new animals which breaks our hearts because we know there are so many that need our help. You can check out many of our adoptable cats and dogs on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-East-Greenwich-Animal-Protection-League/176694852388705?hc_location=timeline). Just by taking one second to “share” a photo on your own page or with a friend or family member you may help one of our many wonderful animals find a forever home!

Also, remember Sunday is our Adoption Day from 10:30-1 so this is your chance to come in if you’re interested in adding a new furry family member to your home. We are currently offering $25.00 off the adoption fee for all of our adult cats  and kittens are $50.00 off so now is the purrfect time to adopt a kitty from us (sorry, just couldn’t resist that pun). If you have questions about any of our cats you can email Nancy at egaplcats@gmail.com or call her at 401-465-7971 and for dogs please contact Tammy at onlygirlx33@aol.com. And keep checking our Facebook page for adoption updates (I know that’s my favorite part of the week)!

In other news, we are looking for the help of an architect...if you are one or know one who can help us please contact Tammy at 401--241-4541 or email her at onlygirlx33@aol.com and we’ll give you the details on what we need.

And just a reminder that our Hound Hike is just a couple weeks away (9/29 at Goddard Park) so I hope everyone is getting excited!
