Chester (#15) leads a fast break vs Northmen last night
Ben Chester, Brian Gemma, and Brandon Eckles led a balanced attack as the trio scored 50 of the 64 points in last nights win. The Avengers went into North Smithfield to make a statement. This game had different implications. This was to erase the "its all over" chant that was shouted at the Avengers last March at Brown University.

The Avs came out firing. Led by Eckles who scored the first 10 points of the game. Then going into 2nd half, up 10, the battle was far from over. Ben Chester continued the scoring attack with 10 points of his own in the 2nd half. Guard play was outstanding throughout the contest. The Avengers withstood many potential scoring runs and some hot shooting from the opposition. They survived with the win and now look forward to the upcoming week of games.

Games this week:
1/14/14-- EG vs Davies @ 7 (HOME)

1/17/14-- EG vs Mount St Charles @ 7 (HOME)
