Autism Project's Imagine Walk & Fun Day:
Everyone's invited to the Autism Project's 10th Annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day at Goddard State Park. The family fun day event features an assortment of free activities designed for children and teens with autism including: a reptile show, karaoke, obstacle course, bounce house, face painting, arts and crafts, and much more! The pledges collected for the Imagine Walk help fund programs and services for children with autism and their families. Adopt-A-Pet Open House: Animals are available for viewing and adoption today with the assistance of a dedicated East Greenwich Animal Protection League member. The open house takes place at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Individual appointments are also available.

EG Boys Home Assn. Dinner: The EG Boys Home is more commonly known as the Boy Scout House on Spring Street. All proceeds from this buffet dinner are used to support the Boy Scout Hall on Spring Street. The dinner is held at the Firemen’s Hall. They will have chicken, baked and spicy potatoes, salads, rolls, coffee, juice, and homemade desserts. Tickets are available at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for children between 5 and 12. Seconds are always on them!

Spain, Morocco April 2013 trip info session: Want to take a family vacation in Europe but don’t quite know how to do it? A couple of EG moms are making it easy. After the succes of a 10-family trip to Austria, Switzerland and Germany over April break, they are planning a trip to Spain with a daytrip to Morocco over the break next April. Jazz & Blues in Narragansett: South County Jazz & Blues Wave takes place today starting at 3 p.m. at the Towers. Native South County musicians are joining forces to enhance arts in South County. Performers include saxophonist Dan Moretti; Chris Vachon and Doug Woverton (both of Roomful of Blues); George Masso; Marty Richards;, Marty Ballou and Dennis McCarthy to name a few.
