EG Students Names to Dean's Lists

The following students were named to the Dean's Lists of their colleges and universities for the fall 2011 semester.

Matthew J. Levine, a member of the Class of 2015 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, was named to the dean's list for his outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2011-12 year. Students whose grade point averages were 3.61 or higher were named to the Dean's List.

Canaan LeBlanc made the Dean’s List in the Temple School of Communications and Theater, at Temple University for the fall quarter of 2011.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Sarah Dinwoodie of East Greenwich, RI, a junior majoring in Civil & Environmental Engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2011 semester. WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

Jade Michele-Helene Genga, who attends the University of Mississippi, is listed on the Chancellor’s Honor Roll for the fall 2011 semester. For the honor, a grade-point average of from 3.75 through 4.0 is required of full-time students carrying at least 12 semester hours.
     
Berklee College of Music announces that Michael Moise of East Greenwich has earned placement on the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2011 academic year. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.

The fall semester Dean's List at Bryant University includes the following area residents: Alexa Fattore, a senior accounting major from East Greenwich. Daniel Tagliatela, a senior accounting major from East Greenwich.

Michael Quinn has been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. He is a member of the Class of 2012 and is majoring in Communications/Sports Communications.

Dr. Thomas F. Wylie, Provost and Senior Vice President at , is pleased to announce the following students who have achieved Dean's List status for the quarter ending December 17, 2011. Students must achieve a GPA of 3.6 or higher on a maximum scale of 4.0 to qualify. Sharon Butler, Pierre Connolly, Amanda Eknaian, Seth Golbitz, Tracy Pampel, Matthew Pastore, Ian Prendergast, Hayle Silva, Alfred Soucy, and Lucas Wilbur.

Claire Thompson, a junior Journalism major, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester in the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences at Rider University.
   
Katrina Traficante was named to the dean's list for the Fall 2011 semester at Quinnipiac University. To be eligible for dean's list status, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C.

Thomas Perrelli, a member of the class of 2015, has been named to the fall 2011 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits.

Eastern Connecticut State University student Julia Tverskoy '15 of East Greenwich, RI, was named to the fall 2011 Dean's List. Tverskoy is a full-time student majoring in Biochemistry.

The following local residents were named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2011 semester: Molly R. Burman, Caitlin T. Indermaur, Nicholas K. Iwamoto, and Sarah J. Testoni. To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, of a maximum of 4.3.

Stephanie Nicole Filardo was named to the Miami University dean's list. Miami University students who achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average for first semester 2011-12 have been named to the Dean's List recognizing academic performance.

The following local residents are among those to be named to the Roger Williams University Dean's List for the Fall 2011 semester. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Rachael Asadorian, Julia Cianciolo, and Charles Ryan.

Laura K. Duff, a member of the Class of 2013 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, was named to the dean's list for her outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2011-12 year. Duff is majoring in biology with a neuroscience concentration at Colby. Students whose grade point averages were 3.61 or higher were named to the Dean's List.

James Kerin, a junior economics and finance major, has been named to the University of Dallas Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester.

Andrew Morsilli was named to the Merit List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Ga., for the 2011 fall semester. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous semester to be named to the Merit List.
