Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, Oct. 15

First Baptist Rummage Sale: The First Baptist Church of EG is holding a Fall Rummage Sale. There will be lots of clothing, housewares, toys, books, electronics, jewelry and more. From 4 to 8 p.m.

Fall festivals: We have our choice of fall-focused events today, with a fall festival at Saint Elizabeth Home on Post Road, from 10 to 3. Activities include a moonwalk, handmade crafts, treasures and trifles, raffles and face painting, all for a small fee. Lunch and home-baked refreshments will be for sale. All proceeds from this event will benefit resident programs at Saint Elizabeth Home. There’s also a down Post Road in North Kingstown, from noon to 4.

Tennis State Tournament: The girls who qualified last weekend will be playing this weekend on an individual level. Of the EG team, number one singles Aleksandra Drjlaca, number two Heather Shen and number four Kerri Whelan will be playing today. EG doubles teams Jamie Halpern and Karleigh Caramongo (number one) and Emily Rapoza and Julia Waicberg (number two) will also be playing. The action takes place at Pawtucket’s Slater Park, starting at 1 p.m.

Live Music: The Greenwich Hotel hosts an Open Mic Night starting at 8:30 p.m. At Ritrovo Italian Pub and Grille, Tony Cerbo performs his Michael Buble act from 8 to 11 p.m.

Weather & tides: The weather will be partly sunny and breezy, with temperatures in the 60s. High tides will be at  10:22 a.m. and 10:53 p.m.; low tides will be at 3:22 a.m. and 4:05 p.m. Sunrise is at 6:57 a.m.; sunset is at 6:05 p.m.
