Five Things: Cove Commission & More

Cove Commission meeting: On the agenda is a discussion of right-of-way issues (access to the waterfront) and mooring issues. The meeting takes place in Town Hall and begins at 4:30 p.m.

Caregivers Support Group: Cornerstone Adult Services is offering a free support group open to the public at Swift Community Center. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month and provides an opportunity for caregivers to ask questions and share concerns with other caregivers who are dealing with similar issues. From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Blood Drive: Centreville Bank hosts the Bloodmobile today from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It’s a great way to help people in need. For more information, click here.

EG Food Cupboard needs donations: People are hungry all year round, Chris and Steve Bartlett of the remind us. Items especially needed are jars of jelly, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and cereals. The food cupboard is housed at St. Luke’s Church. You can leave food there during normal business hours.
