Five Things: Farmers Market At Boesch

Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, Nov. 20.

Thanksgiving Market at Boesch Farm: Join Pat's Pastured and the East Greenwich Municipal Land Trust for a Thanksgiving Market, where you can pick up your pre-ordered turkeys (reserved by pre-order only); buy meat, eggs. and seasonal vegetables; and snack on complimentary fresh-pressed apple cider and cider donuts. There will also be flower arrangements and centerpieces available from Robin Hollow Farms, pies from Great Harvest Bakery, and hayrides from the parking lot to the festivities. From 2 to 7 p.m.

Municipal Land Trust meeting: On the agenda is an update of Boesch Farm, including funding options for major renovations there, and the Trail Adoption program. (See the agenda, right.)

Trivia Contest @ The Grille: Tuesday night is Trivia Night at the Grille on Main. It’s loads of fun whether you compete with a large group or just with your date. There are prizes every round, as well as a grand prize. The only catch? You have to be there by 8 p.m. to enter.

Your photo for 'Five Things'? I'm looking for readers to upload photos to be featured here, in the "Five Things" column. Help EG Patch showcase scenes from around town and get a little visibility for your photography too! If you take a picture today that captures a slice of East Greenwich life (nature, people, things, weather ...), upload it here.

Looking forward …
