Five Things: Fused Glass & Restaurant Week

Do-It-Yourself Website Workshop: Build your own three-page website. At the end of this 3 hour workshop, you will have a three-page website – they guarantee it! You’ll learn how to add content, insert images, use widgets, install and use plugins, and create blog posts. You must bring your own laptop. The workshop is presented by Capaldi Web Design and SEO (a R.I. web design company). It costs $50, or $35 if Capaldi Web is hosting your site and takes place at 875 Centreville Road in Warwick at 6 p.m.

Local artist’s work on display in Providence: Alice Benvie Gebhart, co-owner of the on Post Road, has an exhibit of her kiln-fired fused glass pieces in the Maxwell Mays Gallery at the Providence Art Club through July 20. The exhibit, shared with Peter Aldrich, is titled “Scenes with Feeling.”
