Five Things: Beisel Fever, Cruise Night & More

Goddard Park Farmers Market: It’s high season for farmers markets … awesome produce and flowers and the rest is just icing on the cake. Off Ives Road from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Childrens’ Performance: There is no admission fee or registration for this, but children must be accompanied by and seated with an adult for the last of these weekly performances. The act is Double Vision, which does theatrics and circus stunts. At East Greenwich High School from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.

Crestar Cruise Night: Bring your ‘rod down to Crestar’s parking lot for Cruise Night. Oh, you don’t have a classic car? No worries! There will be PLENTY of cars. And Pops food truck. And a d.j. Life is good.

'Legally Blonde': Summer Stage at Bishop Hendriken High School features several East Greenwich actors, including Lizzie Bateson who plays Elle, the female lead; Leah Gallo who plays Pilar; and Rachel Rossetti who plays Serena. Tonight through Sunday at the high school. For more information, click here.

Beisel T-Shirts: Olympic fever has struck the area, with North Kingstown super-swimmer going for gold in London starting in just a few days. The Tux Shoppe is carrying Elizabeth Beisel t-shirts to help raise money for her family and for the North Kingstown Food Pantry. The shirts are $10 and come in sizes small to XXL.
