Five Things: 'Clam Camp,' More Santa & Pets

Outdoor ‘Clam Camp’ workout: Wicked fun outdoor workout led by Ryan McGowan of Laid-back Fitness, this event is a fundraiser for the Frozen Clam Plunge which benefits the Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership! Recommended donation of $5-20 per person.

Santa at 58 Main St.: Santa continues to make the rounds in EG. This morning he’s at at 58 Main St. at 10:30. Bring your cameras (and wish lists) and join us for cupcakes and hot chocolate! 58 Main Street is home to lots of exciting businesses, including Silver Spoon Bakery, Lina Piccolina Fine Children's Clothier, Laughing Elephant Yoga, and Wildheart Wellness.

Adopt-A-Pet Open House: Animals are available for viewing and adoption today with the assistance of a dedicated East Greenwich Animal Protection League member. Check out , just one of the many cats and dogs in need of a permanent home. The open house takes place at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Individual appointments are also available.

Grief Support: This group meets in the Christ Church office condo on Sunday afternoons and is for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. Each week there is a video which covers different topics pertinent to those who are grieving. Following the video there is time to discuss the contents with others in the group. Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. It is a safe and welcoming environment. For more information, contact the church at 884-8632.
