Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, July 1.

Adopt-A-Pet Open House: Animals are available for viewing and adoption today with the assistance of a dedicated East Greenwich Animal Protection League member. The open house takes place at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Individual appointments are also available.

But work there continues this weekend and rumor has it they will aim to open Tuesday, July 3. Stay tuned.
