Turkey Trot is Saturday! The second annual EG Hill and Harbour Turkey Trot happens Saturday. Work off the holiday calories with friends and family. It’s a fully sanctioned and certified 5K race in downtown EG. The main event starts at 9 a.m. with a 1-mile fun run at 8:30. Other activities will include crafts, music, and food. The EG Lions ask that you bring a canned good with you to donate to the EG Interfaith Food Cupboard. You can register here or just come out to the Varnum Armory Saturday morning. See you there!

Post your Events and Announcements on EG Patch: If you have something you’d like to see on the EG Patch calendar, upload it by clicking here and finding the “Add an Event” tab on the right. The Events Calendar is my go-to spot for the daily Five Things column. If you want to be featured in Five Things, make sure you post your items on the calendar! If you have something you’d like to post as an Announcement, you can do that by clicking here. I routinely post Announcements to the EG Patch home page.
