On New Year’s Day …
Second Annual Frozen Clam plunge: The Frozen Clam is a New Year's plunge takes place right here at the beach at Goddard Park. The plunge – to benefit Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership – will be held at 12 noon but feel free to get there a little early for mental preparation and to learn more about a fantastic organization. Spectators are welcome and donations will be accepted, or better yet, become a mentor. Check out a recap of last year's plunge here. This year we are asking "clam dippers" to register prior to plunging. If you raise $100 you get a t-shirt! Click here to register.
