Five Things: Fused Glass Demo, Girls Soccer

Avenger home games: Girls soccer versus Cumberland, JV at 3:30 and varsity at 4:45 p.m.

Fused Glass Demo: Heritage Art Gallery and Glass Studio, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"heritage-art-gallery-and-glass-studio"} --> is hosting a fused glass demonstration. Alice Benvie Gebhart will be showing her glass construction technique from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in her studio at the gallery right here in EG at 5580 Post Road. Free and open to the public. Frenchtown Open House: You've got a babysitter lined up ... it's your big night out! Do it right and you can take advantage of one of the restaurants participating in EG Restaurant Week (see the next item!) after you meet your child's teacher. The open house at goes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

West Warwick Farmers Market: There’s a new farmers market in the area, at the Thundermist Health Center at 186 Providence Street in West Warwick. Three local farmers will be there present, along with a rotating cast of community groups with activities, nutrition information, and opportunities for free food.
