Schwager fundraiser: Mark Schwager, candidate for the state House Dist. 30 seat being vacated by Bob Watson, has a fundraiser at Meritage tonight. Donations accepted; requested tickets amounts of $25, $50, $75 or $100 are greatly appreciated. From 6 to 8 p.m.

EG Food Cupboard needs donations: People are hungry all year round, Chris and Steve Bartlett of the Food Cupboard remind us. Items especially needed are jars of jelly, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and cereals. The food cupboard is housed at St. Luke’s Church. You can leave food there during normal business hours.
