Summer’s End – donations needed: Summer's End is rolling out their final donation drive before the big concert on Aug. 31. This year marks a lot of exciting changes to the program: the US Navy Band will be performing with local resident and nationally known singer May Pat Denci, the pre-concert warm will include music from local talent like the Headliners and the Hurricanes along with the EG High School Jazz Ensemble. If you have not already (or even if you already have!), please keep the music playing in East Greenwich and donate today! EG Food Cupboard needs donations: People are hungry all year round, Chris and Steve Bartlett of the Food Cupboard remind us. Items especially needed are jars of jelly, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, and cereals. The food cupboard is housed at St. Luke’s Church. You can leave food there during normal business hours.
