Sen. Whitehouse constituent hours: Members of Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s staff will be at the East Greenwich Free Library today from 4 to 6 p.m. to answer questions you may have on issues including military and veteran affairs, social security questions, and small business resources.

Everything You Want to Know About Teens, Part 4 – Prescription Drugs: The fourth in a series of presentations targeted to helping parents talk to their teenage children about challenging subjects. Guest speakers include a representative from The Blessing Way, Fred Procopio M.D., and Scott Scheer from . It takes place in the auditorium at St. Luke’s Church at 6:30 p.m.

Planning Board meeting: On the agenda is a four-house subdivision plan at the end of Taggart Court, known as Southridge Phase IV, and review of the full town Comprehensive Plan. In Council Chambers at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

Avenger Home Games: Boys Tennis will play Cranston West today at 3:30 p.m. Boys Baseball is playing Middletown at 4 p.m.

Taste of the Town this Friday: EG Rotary is holding Friday at the St. Francis de Sales parish hall. There will be food from a variety of local restaurants, including , , , and , with wine pairings by . In addition, there will be both silent and live auctions. Proceeds will benefit Rotary Scholarship Programs.
