Five Things: Zoning Board, Art & More

Zoning Board meeting: On the agenda is consideration of zoning variance requests for a Quick Lube at the northeast corner of Frenchtown Road and South County Trail. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall.

Art Exhibit @ Crestar: MJ Yeager and Jill McLaughlin are exhibiting their artwork through July 5 at Crestar Picture Framing in East Greenwich. The South County artists will be showing mixed media artwork with complementary abstract, dreamlike themes in their first exhibit together. Crestar is located at 51 Liberty St., behind Centerville Bank and across from the CVS drive-through window. The exhibit may also be viewed during business hours Mon. through Fri. 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking is available and the exhibit is free and open to the public.

Nominations wanted: If you feel strongly about , or your favorite coffee haunt or maybe the place you go when you HAVE to find a gift, weigh in. Without your nominations, we won’t know the best places to use for Readers’ Choice!
