Cove Commission meeting: The agenda includes discussions on mooring tackle specification and the Harris Marina right of way. At 4:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

School Committee meeting: The big subject for tonight’s meeting is a presentation on the elementary grade configuration study group. At issue is whether or not the third grade moves over to Eldredge and Hanaford.

Shred-a-Thon: The R.I. Secretary of State is holding a “Shred-a-Thon” in honor of National Consumer Protection Week at the Warwick Mall today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. So if you have paperwork containing private information you want to dispose of head on over to Bald Hill Road and the Warwick Mall to participate have them shredded.

Kroian Scholarship Fund Breakfast: If you are interested in attending this fundraiser in support of the music scholarship fund honoring Michael Kroian, longtime owner of the EG Golf Club and Warwick Vets choral director, today is the LAST DAY to reserve your spot. Coming Wednesday night: The EG Drug Program, Police Department, School Department and CWC (Citizens Who Care) present part two of “Everything you need to know about kids … and better ask.” Presenters on Wednesday will talk about how to talk sex and sexuality with your kids and parental responsibilities regarding technology and internet safety.
