Constituent Hours: Senator Dawson Hodgson is holding Constituent Hours in Council Chambers at Town Hall. Residents are invited to stop by, share their concerns and learn about what's happening at the State House. From 6 to 8 p.m.

Chamber Business After Hours: is the site for the EG Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours tonight at 5:30 p.m., with food from . The featured speaker will be Chamber member Steve Krasner. Steve will talk about his 35 years as a sports writer for the Providence Journal and ESPN, which have featured 22 years of daily Boston Red Sox coverage, including the team's World Series titles in 2004 and 2007. He'll also talk about his career conducting "Nudging the Imagination" writing workshops in schools around the country and his work as a children's book author.

Travel to China: Photographer and tour operator Richard Ferland will present “Travel to China: From Preparation to Immersion” at the East Greenwich Free Library, at 6:30 p.m. As a tour operator Richard has a wealth of information on the practical side of travel to China, with guidance on everything from when to go and what to pack, to how to shop and bargain. As both a visitor and someone who has lived and worked there for a number of years, Richard has immersed himself in Chinese culture. He will teach you some phrases to help you get by, give you tips on interacting with the locals, and present a slideshow featuring his award-winning photographs of the country.

Social Media Marketing for Business: The Coventry Economic Development Commission is hosting this seminar this morning from 9 – 11 a.m. Coventry Town Council Chambers, 1670 Flat River Road. Following these program, members of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) will be available to answer questions and to schedule free ongoing business consulting in areas of marketing, finance, technology, social media and human resources. Snow: Yes, it seems we’re going to have some. Snow is in the forecast for today, but it may turn to rain and then SLEET  — a southern New England special! I know, we can’t complain, we’ve had an easy time of it this winter. Just make sure to drive, and walk, carefully!
