St. Luke’s GIANT Book Sale: Come browse a huge range of used hardback, paperback and audio books, music CDs and more at St. Luke's Parish Hall. Fiction, non-fiction, children's books and titles for young readers are available as well as hobby and personal improvement titles. Stock up on your winter reading selections, fill your bookshelves with hours of entertainment, new ideas and insights, and support a good cause all at the same time!  All proceeds benefit the music program at St. Luke's. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Student Athlete Showcase: is holding a free student-athlete showcase today from noon to 5 p.m. Fitness professionals will be on hand to access your athlete's speed, agility, reaction time, strength, and overall performance. This is an ongoing demonstration open to all coaches, parents, student athletes and athletic directors.

Once Upon A Mattress: The East Greenwich High School Drama Club’s production of “Once Upon A Mattress” opens today at 1 and 7 p.m. Tickets, at $10 piece, will be sold at the door.

Cabin Fever Hike: The Nature Conservancy is sponsoring a 2.5-mile guided walk around Tillinghast Pond. The scenery is dazzling during the walk through forest, meadow, and back to forest again. Meet at the parking lot on Plain Road in West Greenwich. Please call Tim Mooney at 529-1072 to register. 1 p.m. Free.
