Office Hours, Christmas Pageant & More

EG Patch Office Hours: This morning you’ll find me at from 9:30 to 11. Got a bone to pick with something we’ve published? Or maybe you just want to share some holiday love. Either way, you know where I am, so come on down!

OLM Christmas Pageant: There’s nothing like a Christmas pageant to bring some meaning to the season. Come celebrate with the Our Lady of Mercy students as they entertain us with the sounds of Christmas! At the church starting at 7 p.m.

EG Art Club’s Members Show: The show takes place at the Warwick Public Library for most of December but today and tomorrow there are special showings from 2 to 4 p.m., with artists on hand to speak with guests. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Avenger Sports: The EGHS Girls Basketball plays against Tiverton tonight at home at 7 p.m. The JV game starts at 5:15 p.m.

Calling all fabulous decorators: Patch is holding a Patch-wide contest to find the house that’s “best dressed,” as it were, for the holidays. I’ve got my eye on a house on Wanton Shippee, but I’ve admittedly got lots of looking to do before I’ve seen all that East Greenwich as to offer in terms of holiday bling. If your house looks terrific, think about entering it into our “Deck the House” contest. The winner gets $100,000 for his/her town’s schools - wouldn’t that be a nice gift in these tough times?
