Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, Nov. 5

Scouting For Food pickup TODAY! The Scouts will be swinging through town today to pick up bags of non-perishable food that all of us leave on our doorstep. The food will be delivered to the R.I. Food Bank.

Fall Fest: The Village Lower School is holding its annual Fall Fest. All are welcome and admission is free. Pony rides, hay ride, kids arts and crafts, face painting, bake sale, raffle, tours of the school, craft marketplace. Noon.

First Evangelical Lutheran’s Craft Festival: Holiday ideas, crafts, and goodies. All are welcome to come and browse! Noon to 5 p.m. today and 10:30 to noon tomorrow.

EG Boys Soccer Quarterfinals: The Avengers take on Mount St. Charles today at 2:30 p.m. at home (Carcieri Field). Go Avengers!

Fall back: Daylight Savings ends tonight. Keep that in mind as you plan your Sunday morning....
