Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, March 27.


Fire District nominating committee meeting: The panel will discuss opening positions. It takes place early — 7:30 a.m. at the downtown fire station (Station One).

“Musica Dolce” concerts: The EG Cultural Organization for the Arts presents “Musica Dolce” at three of the public elementary schools today. Musica Dolce is Southeastern New England’s chamber orchestra. The first performance takes place at Eldredge at 9:10 a.m.; the second is at Meadowbrook at 10:30, and the final performance is at Hanaford at 1:30 p.m. The public is allowed to attend.

EG Art Club Members Show: The month of March is coming to an end and so too is the East Greenwich Art Club’s Members Show at the Library. All are welcome when the Library is open. Today that’s from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For information visit the art club’s website or call Ian at 941-3153.
