The East Greenwich Parks
& Recreation Department has announced its line-up for the 2nd
annual lunchtime concert series which begins Friday, May 16th from
12 noon-1:30pm on the lawn at Town Hall.
This monthly concert series will feature a different performer for
shoppers, visitors, business persons, and anyone else who wishes to come out
and explore the downtown happenings along with some music while enjoying their
lunch. Tables and chairs will be set up
on the lawn so grab a sandwich from a local restaurant or deli or bring along a
bag lunch. The May 16th
concert will feature Branded, a country music group which was voted the 2014
CMA of RI Band of the Year.
Mark your calendar for the remaining concerts: June 13th: Innovations, July 11th: Johnny Edwards Power of Soul, September 12th: In Tandem, and October 10th: the Caraher Brothers. For additional information contact the office at 886-8626, ext. 1.
