Community Corner

"Circle Of Life" E.G.'s Community Drum&Hoop Circle

Come join East Greenwich's first drumming community all summer long at the beloved St. Luke's Parish.

Every week there will be the opportunity to participate or just watch others display the powerful connection we have to rhythm. No experience is necessary, just an interest to support the beauty of what is going on here is our diverse little town. We'll will have a guest book that gives attendee's a chance to record there visits as well as write down an intention for why they are playing. (ex. "I am here to celebrate the live of my distant Aunt who passed this time last year"..."to experience what drumming my offer me.")

Hula hoops and yoga mats are on opposite sides of the circle for anyone wanting to stretch out or get a little groove on. And

below the auditorium there is a quiet courtyard with the sound of the

water-fountain and chimes to provide a little spot to get some sun and

solitude.

Feel free to bring any rhythmic instrument, mat, hoop and food item.
