Dr Drew is Co-Director of the Center on Irregular Warfare and Armed Groups (CIWAG) at the U.S. Naval War College and holds a BA (Hons.) in History from Southampton University in the United Kingdom and an MALD and PhD in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
