EG Halloween Parade & Party

20th Annual Halloween Festivities will take place on Saturday, October 26th.  This helping Halloween event is free of charge, but you are asked to bring a canned good which will be donated to the EG Food Cupboard.  The costume parade kicks off at 10am sharp from Academy Field, followed immediately by an egg hunt at the field.  From 10:30-12 noon join in the Trick or Treating at the Main Street shops.  Until 12:30pm you can catch a hayride from the rear of the Municipal Parking lot along Main Street and enjoy some games and refreshments at the Town Hall.  This event is sponsored by the EG Parks & Recreation Dept., the EG Veteran's Fireman's Association and the Main Street Merchants Committee.  For additional information contact the Parks & Recreation Office at 886-8626, ext 1.  Check the Town web site as the date draws near for a list of  merchants participating in the Trick or Treating.  www.eastgreenwichri.com
