Vocal Concert: Lively Experiment

This concert by URI’s top small vocal ensemble is going to feature "recycling:" that is, pieces written by one composer that were used or re-worked by another, as well as concepts and ideas that have recurred over the centuries.  The pieces will range from a Renaissance motet to an a cappella jazz setting of a song by Jobim.  The program will also include a few holiday favorites, and we invite the public to join us in celebrating the end of fall semester classes at URI. Mark Conley directs.

Ticket proceeds support URI Music scholarship funds.
