Give Back Saturday -
We will be hosting two wonderful donations drives that we'd like to ask everyone to participate in. We will be collecting canned goods through our program Kick out Hunger as well as your old soccer uniforms and equipment for our other program SoccerRECYCLE. If you are new to Ocean State Soccer, SoccerRECYCLE is our own program started 4 years ago - we collect your gentle used uniforms and soccer equipment, and send them to poor communities. Both programs were created by our own players who wanted to make the world around them a better place, so I ask that you help support these player-inspired initiatives!We are asking each player to bring a canned good (or more than one if you'd like) and your used soccer uniforms to the Cookout (May 31st). Bring it to the field and we'll handle the rest. Even if your family does not play at OSS think of helping out this great cause.
