Hunger to Hope

Christ Church is partnering with Feed My
Starving Children to make a difference toward ending world hunger. In our world
today, an estimated 925 million people are chronically hungry, though there is
enough food in the world for everyone to have adequate nutrition. At Advantage
Glass (1560 Elmwood Ave., Cranston) on March 22, our community will be joining
with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePackTM to produce
175,000 meals for children around the world.  FMSC is a Christian nonprofit hunger relief organization
working with volunteers to produce MannaPackTM Rice, a
scientifically formulated food formula that is culturally acceptable worldwide.
Organizations in nearly 70 countries around the world distribute these meals to
children in greatest need. To learn more about FMSC, visit fmsc.org.

Christ Church invites everyone throughout Rhode Island to
join us in producing these meals. We need to recruit 875 volunteers and raise 22¢ for each meal—$38,500 total—for this
MobilePack. Adults and children (K and up) can volunteer on March 22.
Volunteers will measure and scoop ingredients, seal bags, and prepare boxes for
shipping. You can sign up a an individual, a family or a group for one of 3 two
hour sessions. Volunteer registration and monetary donations can all be done at
www.fundraising.fmsc.org/eastgreenwich
or you can find more information on our church website: www.christchurchec.org or call us at
884-8632.

Together we can make a difference in bringing children from
