Jim Gaffigan

JIM GAFFIGAN has proven himself a major talent beloved to a wide range of audiences, achieving accolades and awards for his stand-up comedy, acting, and writing.

His clever, quiet style has made him one of the top five most successful touring comedians in the country today and his CDs and DVDs have reached platinum sales. Gaffigan has had an unprecedented number of appearances on late night’s “Letterman" and “Conan." His writing and voice work on the animated series “Pale Force” for Conan led to nominations for both a Broadband Emmy and a Webby Award.

Gaffigan has had breakout guest appearances on many comedies and dramas ranging from HBO's cult hits "Flight of the Concords", "That 70's Show", "My Boys", and "Bored to Death" to dramatic roles in all three versions of "Law & Order".

In recent years, Gaffigan has also become a mainstay on the big screen with memorable roles in "The Love Guru" "Going the Distance", "Away We Go", "It's Kind of a Funny Story" and "Salvation Boulevard."

Further broadening his career, Gaffigan starred in his first Broadway production, “That Championship Season”. As part of the highly acclaimed play, Gaffigan appeared in the ensemble alongside Chris Noth, Brian Cox, Jason Patric, and Kiefer Sutherland.

Premium Services - RAM Lot (VIP Parking) – Jim Gaffigan Show
$30 per pass

Ram lot parking provides VIP access to the lot directly in front of the Ryan Center and its main entrance. The Ram Lot is located off Plains Road and West Alumni Avenue. Please note: Ram lot parking only provides access for the Saturday evening Jim Gaffigan event and does not include football parking. In addition to the Ram lot there is free parking located across the street from the Ryan Center in the Plains Road parking lot.

On-line Ticket Sales - Advance on-line ticket purchase is required and must be done no later than 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 17th, 2013 or until the ticket allotment has sold out whichever comes first. 

After this on-line deadline you may purchase tickets at the door based on availability. 

Mail orders can be made by printing and mailing/faxing the order form available at http://www.uri.edu/familyweekend/. Please note the same deadlines apply. 

A non-refundable processing fee of $10.00 will be applied to all orders. 

PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 ticket printing options: 

Print at Home: 

Print your tickets right away or whenever you're ready, from a PDF provided to you in a ticket order email sent to you after your purchase.

Mail: 

Get your tickets in 5-10 days, delivered in a Ryan Center envelope. In order to have your tickets mailed your order must be received prior to October 7th at 6PM. Any order received after the 7th at 6PM will be available for print at home only or pick up at the Ryan Center Box Office.

No refunds can be made for Family Weekend ticket purchases. 

You must reserve tickets for both family and students at the same time to be able to sit together. Speak with your student to be sure s/he is not purchasing tickets separately!
