Kitchen Medicine

On Tuesday, January 21, members and friends of the Cindy Wood Garden Club will learn about healing foods from East Greenwich resident AeRhee Lee.  Ms. Lee is a graduate of URI and a practicing pharmacist.  She has developed a line of gentle food restoratives based on Korean comfort food called juk.  These porridge-style foods are made with organic grains and herbal infusions that aid in various health needs.

Taste and fortify yourself against winter ills with these good tasting get-well foods. The meeting begins with refreshments at 9:30 am at The Old Jail, 110 King Street in East Greenwich.  Anyone interested in these healing foods or the garden club is invited to attend.  Call Marnie Sandham at 886-9266 or Joni Plunkett at 885-2868 for more information.
