LIBRARY LOVEFEST

The East Greenwich Free Library celebrates its Friends!
October 21-25, 2013 will be devoted towards the Friends of the East Greenwich Free Library group as part of the seventh annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week. The Friends were re-established in 2011 and have already grown 193 community members strong, many of whom actively volunteer in the Friends’ various programming efforts - including the popular annual used book sale held every spring and Winter’s Eve, the spectacular juried art show that takes place in December. Please check the library’s calendar for the dates for these and all of the Friends’ events and programs. They are always entertaining and informative!
The highlight of the Celebration Week includes a delicious reception on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30. Everyone is welcome. During the week, volunteers will be staffing a membership table and answering questions about the Friends organization.
Come share the joy! Tell friends and spread the love! Contact friendseglibrary@gmail for more information.
