Once upon a time, Thanksgiving Day was reserved solely for — Thanksgiving. Now, it's about more than turkey and pumpkin pie for shoppers throughout the country.

But in Rhode Island, shoppers will have to wait until the wee hours of the morning to race for the best deals.
