Obituary: Carolyn F. (King) Traghella, 76

She enjoyed making seasonal and holiday crafts and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

 

Carolyn F. (King) Traghella, 76, passed away Sunday, May 19. She was the beloved wife of Richard Traghella for 55 years. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Elmer and Margretta (Fox) King, she resided in Pawtucket, Warwick and West Warwick before moving to East Greenwich in 2002.

Carolyn was employed in the housekeeping department at Kent Hospital for 25 years until retiring in 2002. She enjoyed making seasonal and holiday crafts and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Chris R. Traghella of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mark W. Traghella of North Kingstown and six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Milton King.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.
