John B.McNulty, “Jack," 84, passed away January 3, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Joan l. (Earley) McNulty for 62 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Andrew J. and Nora A. (Walsh) McNulty.
Jack was the president of the John B. McNulty Company, East Providence, an HVAC construction company for 35 years, where he employed seven of his children. Prior to establishing his own business, Jack worked as a heating estimator for several contractors in Rhode Island.
Jack was a graduate of LaSalle Academy (1948) and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy, East Greenwich, for the past 15 years and St. Margaret's, Rumford, for 45 years.
Besides his wife, Jack is survived by his 10 children: Patricia Hendrickson, John Jr., James, Carol Grenier, Mary Francis, Kevin, Michael, Joan, Brian, Dennis, and loving grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Andrew and Joseph, and predeceased by his brother James.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St. Visitation will be prior to the Mass for family and relatives from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Greenwich.
