Maria A. Abadier, 58, passed away April 1, 2014. Born in Fornos de Algodres, Matanca, Portugal.
She was a daughter of the late Joaquim Do Couto and Albertina Fonseca (Oliveira) Cabral.
Maria was a stay at home mom for over 20 years raising her four children before opening and operating Maria's Barber Shop in Wickford.
She is survived by four children; Nicole Abadier-Ellis, Christina Triscari and Michael and Andrew Abadier, a granddaughter Natalie Sophia Triscari and her siblings: Piedade,Rosaria, Herculano, Messiano, Agostinho, Maria, Luis, Fernando, Pedro, Paula, John and the late Esperanca.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday April 5th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., E. Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours: Friday April 4th from 4-8 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich.
