Rose Mary LaFrance, 79, passed away January 3, surrounded by her loving family at Philip Hulitar Home and Hospice in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Deacon Raymond J. LaFrance.
Born in Sharon, Penn., she was the daughter of the late Michael R. and Sadie (Gioia) Muhovich. She is survived by her five loving children and their spouses: Michael J. LaFrance (Andrea), Paul L. LaFrance (Kimberly), Mary A. Rawls (Thomas), Jeannine Hodge (Ed) and Steven R. LaFrance (D. Todd Feeley); 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was the sister of the Rev. Msgr. Salvatore Mitchell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, School Street, North Kingstown. Visitation prior to the Mass 9 to 10 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St. East Greenwich. Burial will be in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be to Home & Hospice Care of R.I., Philip Hulitar Center.
