$7,500 Scissor Lift Reported Stolen

The electric scissor lift reportedly was taken from outside a South County Trail business.

East Greenwich police are investigating the reported theft of a $7,500 scissor lift outside a South County Trail business.

Police said the owner of American Aerial Equipment Company reported to police on April 21 that a 2006 JLG Electric Scissor Lift worth $7,500 went missing after it was delivered to a business on South County Trail.

The man said the lift was delivered on March 29 to Maniac Training at and when he went to pick it up on March 30, it was nowhere to be found.

The lift has a stamped unit number of $10043 and has American Aerial Equipment decals on the side.

Police said the owner tried to find it for a few weeks before reporting the incident.
