Case Dismissed Against EG Firefighter
Mark Amaral was arrested in December on domestic assault charges.
Charges of domestic assault and disorderly conduct against East Greenwich firefighter Mark Amaral have been dismissed, according to the Rhode Island Judiciary website.
Amaral, a Warwick resident, was arrested in Warwick on Dec. 7, after a family member accused him of slapping her.
Amaral remained on the job. His case was dismissed in Third District Court on Jan. 13.
